They will come along and have fun in the knowledge that so many life skills/ health benefits are inbuilt, eg: turn taking, waiting, listening, sensory integration, gross and fine motor exercises, social skills and cardio vascular exercise.
Lancashire TAAG is solely run by our dedicated team of volunteers who provide support during our multi sports activities for children and young people in an understanding environment.
We soon started a parent support group to share experiences and knowledge and over time we have started to offer fantastic training in Autism, Challenging Behaviours, Anxiety & ASD & PDA and invite guest speakers to share knowledge of support in the community.
Our main focus is teaching our taag members new skills, team work, confidence, acceptance, inclusion, friendships, achievements, social and life skills. The social and emotion benefits are amazing and are intended to have a very positive

Autism Active Minds
The Autism Active Minds project will enable children and young people to experience a challenge of a variety of sports and life skills to help with their mental health and wellbeing.
We aim to assist with sporting activities of rounders, volley ball, cricket, dodge ball, rebound therapy, team building games, and to teach how to bake. These will assist them to keep active and develop social skills to develop language and understand social situations. This will help their mental health by learning how to interact with others and hopefully help them to more easily recognise social cues. The project Autism Active Minds gives parents/carers the support group they need in the café area whilst their child or young person attends the taag session.
If you’re interested in Wednesday evenings on our new project Autism Active Minds, please email us on info@taaglancashire.co.uk
